Welcome to the
Office of Insurance Regulation
Unlicensed Medicare Part D
Providers
The Center for Medicare &
Medicaid Services (CMS)1
has granted a three-year federal
waiver to certain companies
allowing them to sell Medicare
Part D, the Prescription Drug
Plans (PDPs), in Florida. The
following companies have
obtained the federal waiver but
are currently not licensed by
the State of Florida:
-
Bravo Health Insurance
Company, Inc.
-
Fox Insurance Company
-
Health Spring of Alabama,
Inc. & Health Spring, Inc.
-
MemberHealth, Inc.
-
RXAmerica, LLC
Since the companies are not
licensed to operate in Florida,
they do not file policy forms,
rates, or financial reports with
the Florida Office of Insurance
Regulation and they are not
members of the Florida Life and
Health Insurance Guaranty
Association (FLHIGA). No
coverage is afforded by FLHIGA
in the event of impairment or
insolvency of the entity.
If you have questions about your
