2008 Filing and Compliance Symposium

The 2008 Symposium was held May 22 & 23, at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando.  This educational Symposium was held to inform industry home office compliance staff in life and health and property and casualty about recent Florida legislation and how companies can get their filings approved easier and faster.  We discussed new markets and common questions about Florida regulations.

For the first time we invited Florida's 220,000 agents to join us in an informal environment and learn what companies go through to get new products to them.  We wanted to get the home office representatives, the agents and the regulators together in an informal environment to talk and learn about common issues and new ideas.
