OIR Approves Final Order for Workers' Compensation Rates

The Office has officially approved the rate increase of 6.1% for workers' compensation rates in Florida after the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) resubmitted their rate filing to correct technical issues per a press release issued on October 26, 2012. The Final Order was signed on Friday, November 2, 2012 and the rates become effective January 1, 2013.
