Office Of Insurance Regulation To Hold News Availability Monday

Tallahassee – (11/07/2003) – Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (Office) has scheduled a press availability on Monday, November 10, 2003. It will be held at the J. Edwin Larson Building, at 1:00 P.M., in room 116.
The Office will be releasing the "presumed factor" on Monday morning. The presumed factor is the rate level impact the medical malpractice reform bill is expected to produce. Questions regarding this issue will be answered at the press availability.
A press release will be sent out Monday morning announcing the presumed factor, and an informational memoranda will be posted on the Office of Insurance Regulation website at http://www.fldfs.com/companies
