Florida Office Of Insurance Regulation Sets Public Hearings For State Farm Florida Insurance Company

Tallahassee – The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation will conduct public hearings in Stuart and Sarasota for input concerning a proposed 8.6 percent statewide average increase for homeowners insurance filed by State Farm Florida Insurance. The requested rate was not uniform and some areas are subject to a higher rate increase.
The hearings in Stuart will be Oct. 10 at the Lyric Theatre, 59 SW Flagler Ave, at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The hearing in Sarasota will be Oct. 11 at the Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
