Florida Office Of Insurance Regulation Sets Public Hearings For Florida Select Insurance Company

Tallahassee – The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation will conduct public hearings in Jacksonville for input concerning a rate filing by Florida Select Insurance Company proposing a 19% average statewide rate increase for dwelling insurance in one program and a 32% average statewide rate increase for dwelling insurance in a second program. The requested rate was not uniform and some areas are subject to a higher rate increase.
The hearings will be Nov. 14 at Prime Osborne Convention Center, 1000 Water Street, at noon and at 6:00 p.m.
