Tallahassee - The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation will be conducting a rate hearing May 3 in Tallahassee for input from the public concerning rate filings by Cotton States Mutual Insurance Company of Florida, which is requesting a statewide average increase of 24 percent for homeowner policies. The requested rates are not uniform and some areas are subject to higher or lower rate changes.

 

The hearing will be at 2 p.m. at the Larson Building, Room 116, 200 East Gaines Street.
