Tallahassee - The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has scheduled rate hearings May 10 in Palm Beach Gardens for input from the public concerning rate filings by Hartford Insurance Company of the Midwest, which is requesting a statewide average increase of 21.0 percent for homeowner policies. The requested rate is not uniform and some areas are subject to higher or lower rate changes.
The hearings will be at noon and 6 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel in the Gardens, 4431 PGA Boulevard.
